Carmen Lorenzo
3D art
power meaning
the ability to pull things from one’s art into real life, either turning them into actual objects, or bringing them to life if it’s art of a living thing
reasons for attribution
character-based: Carmen is artisticother: x
other info
1 : she doesn’t have control over any drawings she’s pulled to reality; her 3D art things will behave as their real-world counterparts would

Christian
invisibility
power meaning
the ability to turn invisible at will
reasons for attribution
character-based: Christian is a chauffeur, and is able to pick up on gossip simply because people don’t pay attention to their hired driverother: x
other info
1 : he can choose whether he wants things he’s touching to go invisible with him (doesn’t work on really big objects or other people)

Inés Villegas
telepathy
power meaning
the ability to read minds undetected & project thoughts into people’s heads
reasons for attribution
character-based: Inés is very perceptive and likes to be in controlother: just so she can be tormented by wintake thinking about each other 24/7
other info
1 : generally she chooses when to use her mind reading abilities, but in some circumstances she can’t turn it off (sometimes just for certain people, sometimes for literally everyone)
2 : she can project thoughts into people’s heads either as herself or as an anonymous voice (the latter sounding like the person’s own thoughts). it’s not quite mind control as the person can choose to disregard these ideas, but it can be basically the same thing (especially if the person is easily influenced anyway)

Joan Lorenzo
alcohol transmutation
power meaning
the ability to turn anything into alcohol
reasons for attribution
character-based: y’know,,, he owns a barother: x
other info
1 : while it’s possible for Joan to turn living beings into alcohol, this is pretty draining for him & has a higher chance of going wrong than it does with inanimate objects

Luisa Rosa
sphere conjuring
power meaning
the ability to conjure spheres of virtually anything
reasons for attribution
character-based: Luisa has a very bubbly personalityother: originally thought of conjuring bubbles only, then changed to conjuring anything spherical
other info
1 : she literally only uses it to conjure soap bubbles because she likes playing with them, so everyone thinks that’s the extent of her power
2 : one time the Palma police family get captured by an Evil Person and the others’ powers are unavailable for some reason, so Luisa just. drops a very heavy sphere of metal on the Evil Person’s foot. the others are all like “Luisa wtf have you been able to do that the whole time” and Luisa’s like “yea lol”

Max Winter
hydrokinesis
power meaning
the ability to create & control water
reasons for attribution
character-based: Max generally has a cool, laidback attitude, but this can become unexpectedly dangerous when his loved ones are threatenedother: it’s the opposite of Miranda’s electrokinesis, but is also more powerful / dangerous when the two are used in conjunction
other info
x

Miranda Blake
electrokinesis
power meaning
the ability to create & control electricity
reasons for attribution
character-based: Miranda is powerful and badass, but she’s also quick to anger, and has a tendancy to lash out at the people around her when she’s frustrated or upsetother: it’s the opposite of Max’s hydrokinesis, but is also more powerful / dangerous when the two are used in conjunction
other info
1 : because of complicated childhood trauma reasons Miranda never fully learnt how to control her power, so it tends to go haywire / dangerously out of control when she’s struggling with intense uncontrolled emotions (things like her argument with Max in s1 ep3)

Niall Taylor
cryokinesis
power meaning
the ability to create & control ice
reasons for attribution
character-based: Niall is fucking Cool and his heart is probably made of ice tbhother: it’s got an advantage over Max’s hydrokinesis and Miranda’s electrokinesis (ice is a poor conductor of electricity) while still being on par for actual power levels, but when Max and Miranda combine their powers they have an advantage over Niall (electricity in water heats the water, thus meaning it could melt ice)
other info
x

Roberto Herrero
bridge with the dead
power meaning
the ability to communicate with people in the Realm of the Dead
reasons for attribution
character-based: Roberto is morbid as hellother: x
other info
1 : technically this is just mediumship, but that wasn’t dramatic enough for Roberto so he came up with his own name for it
2 : when receiving a Communication (aka just fucking talking to ghosts), his fingers, hands, and arms gradually turn black, starting at his fingertips and very slowly creeping up. after the Communication has stopped, it takes the same amount of time for this to disappear again
